Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions may be made in person, by letter, online via Emis Access or by telephone request to Reception.

There is a 24-hour answer phone for making requests for medication. If possible, please use this or on-line service rather than ringing the main Reception. Ensure you leave details of your name, date of birth and the medication required.  Telephone 028 9261 1278 (option 2).

Requests for repeat prescriptions are dealt with as soon as possible, however please contact us to re-order 1 week prior to your medications running out and allow 48 hours for your request to be processed by us and a further 48 hrs for your chosen pharmacy to process your request whether ordered by telephone, letter, online or in person. If you have designated a pharmacy to collect and/or order medication for you please contact them initially to check if your medication is ready for collection. Thank you.

Hospital letters, which require us to issue you with medication, are treated in the same manner as repeat prescriptions and we need the same length of time to prepare them.
